I have a history of wanting to serve my community as shown by my involvement in community boards and clubs above. I believe, as a small business owner, that it is important to run government like a business, always watching every penny and managing a budget. Ownership of a business has allowed me to oversee budgets, market conditions, and financial reports and prepare for always-changing economic conditions. Small businesses are vital to our local economy, and that’s why I believe in buying locally whenever possible. I always have stood firm in my belief in decreasing tax burden on local taxpayers as much as possible. I have consistently voted to decrease the millage rate while on the FCBOE. We can work together as a team to make Floyd County the best place to live and work; Teamwork makes the dreamwork, and I am willing to do my part in that team.
